#MondayNightTri By Gu Energy Labs #GUforIT

Phew, It’s been a tough go this year. Injury after injury has resulted in weight gain and setbacks. With that being said, last night was the first Monday Night Tri of the year and it felt pretty darn good. I don’t claim to be the fastest, or the best looking, one out there but after a long day at work the last thing you usually want to do is knock out a 2.5 hour solo triathlon, but it got done! Things are starting to come back to life but I am listening carefully to my body so that I do not hurt this leg again. If it starts to bother me I just back off and take a couple days off. After 5 full Ironmans I do not feel like I have to prove anything to anyone, except myself. My goal is to learn how to keep this body of mine moving forward and keep it in the game. The road to Kona continues…
