I qualified for 5150 U.S. Olympic Championships
I may not be the fastest guy out there but I really wanted to push myself hard this race and try to stay on the edge of my comfort zone. Last year I did my first Olympic race, 5150 New Orleans, in 3:17:49 in 25th place and this year I finished with a 2:55:06 in 15th place (the hard training is paying off). I could not be happier with my performance and it feels good to grab the last qualifying spot to move on to the 5150 U.S. Olympic Championships at Hy-Vee.
