Back to Basics
So I went through a couple weeks of slight post Ironman depression… This whole year has been leading up to that one moment and it was EVERYTHING I thought it would be, and more. The downside(and upside) is that it’s over and now a new journey must begin. This left me with a bit of a crater in the “normal” schedule and routine.
One thing that emerged out of this was getting my run back to the basics. I’ve been doing slower longer runs off of the bike for a while now and it’s been a nice change up to just run, and run faster. The legs have felt a bit sore from being pushed with extra speed but overall it’s been really nice to get back to the basics.
